For all my life, I’ve lived in New York and can’t imagine myself living elsewhere (except maybe in Amsterdam for a couple years). After living a year abroad in Florence, Italy, I’ve realized that there’s truly no other city like NYC in the world: one that’s so complex, lively, and diverse. And even in the age of the COVID-19 pandemic, the usual positive energy of the city has been undefeated and found its way through rooftop culture, live digital concerts, and the #NewYorkStrong trend.
